Parents across America are overwhelmed by the uncertainty around their children’s education this fall. Many already know that their children will be, again, doing school from home and others are still waiting for state and local leaders to make a decision.
Chris Butler, a father of four and a pastor in Chicago, is here to help as best he can. Chris and his wife have homeschooled their children since the beginning and their experience can be of service to all the parents who find themselves looking at a school year that is anything but normal. He shares his thoughts about how to deal with the uncertainty and channel our energy in productive and hopeful ways, while acknowledging that none of this is easy. But he sees opportunity in the moment.
One of the most compelling things he says about doing school at home is that his family is more about finding the right rhythm than the right routine.
